Admin and platform

Domains

Domains authenticates your email domain so your team can send email to visitors from your own branded addresses, such as support@yourcompany.com, and have it actually land in the inbox. Each site can have one authenticated domain.

Where it lives

Open the Domains tab in the top bar. This page is owner and admin only. It lists every site in your workspace with the state of its email domain.

Add and verify a domain

Expand a site row and click Add domain, then enter the bare domain with no https and no path. ZenTalk returns a short list of CNAME records for your DNS team. Publish those records with your DNS provider, then click Re-validate. The status pill moves from PENDING to VERIFIED once the records are live.

Get it landing, not spam

Verifying the domain lets ZenTalk send as your domain. To keep messages out of spam, your DNS also needs SPF, DKIM, and DMARC aligned. Open Show checklist for a step-by-step. If you already have an SPF record, from Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 for example, merge the ZenTalk include into it, since only one SPF record is allowed per domain.

Add senders

  • Add sender: once the domain is verified, add the addresses your team sends from, such as support or sales, with an optional display name.
  • Assign agents: choose which agents may send from each address. Unassigned senders can only be used by the workspace owner.
  • Connect mailbox: optionally link the address over IMAP so chat emails mirror into your real Inbox and Sent folders.

Share a domain

A verified domain can be shared with another workspace as a delegate, and you can Revoke that access at any time. Incoming and outgoing share requests appear at the top of the page.

Why this matters
An authenticated domain is what makes your Mail reliably reach customers rather than getting filtered.
